Re: At what point does an attack constitute a ban?

An aircraft is an aircraft is an aircraft is a glider Agreed. In my FDMs I do same way. All dynamics are done ignoring engine powers. Only the drag caused by the nacelle is concerned. Then I make the engine behaved right later and in the case of MD-11 and the secret, suddenly the pitch power tables...

Re: At what point does an attack constitute a ban?

I did the perfect opposite. I optimized engine position, and thrust levels and directions to reported specs. And then I started from there. Off topic Israel, but let me warn you that the Propulsions are a little weird (ESPECIALLY FGTURBINE!) (but still WAY better than yasim). Do not trust him. I ha...

Re: At what point does an attack constitute a ban?

You say FDM development is easy. I didn't say that. What I said is I could make a JSBsim that flies as good as the YAsim in the same amount of time. It won't be realistic, but it will fly about "as good" as the YAsim one. That's pretty easy. Making an FDM that is realistic is certainly no...

Re: At what point does an attack constitute a ban?

Agreed. The only problem that I have is when one says its "more realistic" instead of just "I prefer it". I can analogy this to FSX, where some people prefer a less complex sim to a complex, because they re more relaxed when they fly. I have no issue for that. And IF he doesn't s...

Re: At what point does an attack constitute a ban?

You missed a lot of his undertones. Now this sentence: The JSBSim flight model doesn't bring anything to see even is absolutely realistic for a twin-engine fighter. This is of course his classic, JSBsim flight model doesn't bring anything to see, what he means is, its nothing realistic and his YAsim...

Re: At what point does an attack constitute a ban?

Helijah, didn't slap anyone down over the use of JSBsim... You haven't been reading... well at least you weren't' reading before it was purged in several threads. Helijah stated several times that the use of JSBsim FDM in his models was ruining them, making them unrealistic, and made a big scene ab...

Re: At what point does an attack constitute a ban?

You slapped him down, calling him names telling him how people had spent many hours working on a JSBsim flight model I can recall 3 separate occasions where someone applied a JSBsim flight model into his 3D, where he slapped them down for "ruining the aircraft" and such, that is okay to d...

At what point does an attack constitute a ban?

once again banned for defending myself and/or others. Specifically on a pattern: - helijah make a nice 3d with a yasim - Somebody like Richard makes a great FDM in JSBsim that is very realistic, maybe 2-3 years of work to do so - That person posts it on the forum - helijah comes attacking how JSBsim...
