Airbus A320 Family Development
Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
New ADIRS system installed by legoboyvdlp, I made some minor fixes, now it should be working!
Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
Okay along with some fixes to ECAM REV indicators, and EXT PWR behavior, I made the reverser keys W and Q for now. Let me know what you think of this.

New JSBsim based FBW system!!!!!!
Up on GIT
Thanks @richard for more JSB help!
Now the FBW will work properly on ANY system! Regardless of frames! (I hope, will test on my crappy laptop later)
Please feedback!!!

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
New Pneumatic System by legoboyvdlp modified by me.
Also thrust limits now to change to MCT and CLB properly.
Also cleaned up and optimized code.
Kind Regards,
Josh

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

THANK YOU ISRAEL

PS: How has the FBW been working?

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
The Pneumatic System has been overhauled.
Now the engine start system is realistic from a pneumatic point of view, they only start if there is enough pressure.
Bleeds work, etc.
Packs will be done very soon.
Kind Regards,
Josh

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
Packs are done!
OK, I connected Aileron and Elevator to Hydraulics, with complicated stuff!
Next steps:
Get Rudder-FDM prop in FDE
Get Gear to only retract/extend if hydraulics powered
Get Spoilers to work with Aileron as spoileron
Get Spoiler to only work if hydraulics powered
Get Ailerons to go Upper when Ground Spoiler activated (like real A320)
Get Flaps/Slats to only work if hydraulics powered
Kind Regards,
Josh

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
OK GUYS!
I have connected the ailerons, spoilers, together, in a realistic way, and made them behave like real. Also drooping ailerons on ground.
I also smoothed the transitions.
Also made FBW Roll less sluggish.
Kind Regards,
Josh

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
OK I think I should give a status update for where we stand, and what my plans are.
By V1.0 this will be my goal:
Fully working everything as in real life, normal conditions.
Very few failures will be made.
Mostly working MCDU/FMGC simulation, with most normal functions.
IAE&CFM engines
P&W Engines for A318
EIS1 and EIS2 Displays/Logic
A318, A319-100/A319ACJ, A320-100, A320-200, A321-200
Some 2D Panels
Virtual Cockpit Fully functional
More Loadable Panel States
Sharklets/Regular Winglets (Except A320-100)
Full FlyByWire simulation
Load Manager
Then by update V1.1:
More Failures Simulation
A319neo, A320neo, A321neo
More MCDU/FMGC simulation.
Fix bugs (as always)
Then by update V1.2:
More Failures Simulation
More MCDU/FMGC simulation.
Fix bugs (as always)
Hopefully V1.2 will be the stable final version, Full Final Release of V1.0 is expected in early 2018 (but hey, sh*t happens)
This will be a study-level simulation.
From there we will move on to the next aircraft, while still providing bugfixes/support/etc, and maybe even more features.
This list is subject to change without notice. I am not required to advise when the list changes.
Thoughts? Ideas? Comments? Concerns? Something else? Let me know!
Kind Regards,
Josh
