I proudly present...
the new private development A330-200 by Artix!
I am part of the dev team, as a tester, and basic helper.
Here's a sneak peak of the new features found in the dev A330...
Image
Unfortunately the OH Panel IRS is not functional yet. However, you may Align the IRS from the MCDU, on the INIT page. However, Daweed is working on the OH, and therefore, it may be functional yet!
Image
This is the new Bleed Page. The temperature changes according to the coldest setting on the OH PANEL temperature knobs. Notice also the Ground Bleed, which uses the Cross Bleed Knob. The Bleed system has had a major rework.
Image
Here is the new COND page. The temperatures may be adjusted from the OH PANEL.
Image
Here is the new FCTL page. The spoiler status is shown. Also, the pitch trim is shown.
Image
Now, as in the real thing, only one button (CSTR, VOR, NDB, ARPT, FIX) may be selected at a time. Also, there is both an ILS and a MLS pushbutton. The MLS is on the FO side, and the ILS on the CAPT side.
Image
Here is the new DIR page on the MCDU. It is fully functional.
Image
Finally, the FPLN page had a re-work. You can fly via Airways, which show where the DEM2 is shown. The 15 above the 6000 alt constraint is the distance which you will have flown passing that waypoint. Finally, the track to the waypoint is shown. Also, you can do an offset on the LAT REV page.

Someday it will be public...

well... is that public? or is it going to be a secret development?
Because if it the later, there is nothing to present, itselft.

It is a private plane that someone else has.

It is a work in progress.
It will be merged into the master branch when it is ready and sufficiently tested, to the best of my knowledge.

that is not knowledge. That is a guess (or in the best case -- a promise, which I had not heard/read being made)

In any case, yes, I know there is secret development ongoing. Not only the Airbus333, but also some other aircrafts. That is not in violation of GPL. If its made public, it will be GPL, or that will be in violation.

My point is, you "present" such development, when you actually present it to the public. Other than that, what is the point? Are you trying to humiliate us with your having a better aircraft that is to be accesible only to you and your friends?

Well. At least now it is a promise.
In any case, feel free to "present" it to the public, when it is public domain. Before that, is just....

O.K. Looking forward for it to become public, and the pull request being made towards FGMEMBERS, then

In the mean time, a group of developers keep actively working on the same exact aircraft in an open and accesible manner, without forgetting the courteous promise that it being OPENSOURCE represent.

We dont need to hide progress.

Artix wished it to be private. Probably to keep out people that make bug reports about such topics as gray windows!
Yup, OrangeTiger's work seems excellent. I have invited him to also put his work to the other, private A330, so that both teams get his work...
Especially the Fuel Systems and Ground Spoiler fixes.

This is only a guess, obviously, but I'm sure a reasonable estimate is Spring 2016. Perhaps Summer, as artix is very busy right now with something (schoolwork?).
Not too far off...
