For Development Purposes Only: The Server Map

Hey Everyone-- Does anybody have the scoop on why the FG Server Online Map now has "For Development Purposes Only" scrawled over it and Google says it can't load the map? Also, you probably have noticed without the regular map, the option to add streets and geographical information is lost, as is the ability to switch from satellite view to map view.

Are the guys in the other forum who claim they know what is best for FG going to get this fixed?

Any word about it?

Their license ran out, that is why.

Almost certainly because the billing ran out on the API key, i.e. the owner of the map has to pay money to get it to work again.
An alternative is to switch to Leaflet (Open Street Map):



There are various layers available - the only thing which isn't as far as I know is satellite maps.
