FG launchers and scenery directory order...

I'm running 3.7. It has the QT launcher as standard, but also FGRun in the "bin" folder.
Using QT launcher I can't get my downloaded custom scenery to get priority or load, using "settings" "Configure add on aircraft and scenery". I have the RJGG folder downloaded to my HD to within my "custom scenery" folder. That folder, "custom scenery" is the first path in the settings entry for scenery, followed by the terrasync path. I've also tried the opposite, with terrasync first and custom second. And I've tried with the path set in the "options" box, using:
--fg-scenery=\F:\FlightGear\custom scenery\RJGG-fg-CustomScenery.git
using forward slashes, backward slashes, with and without ".git", ending at "custom scenery", and more.
I'm at a loss. Don't understand how I can get this to work.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Using FGRun I run into different problems. I'm able to set paths correctly in all places, but once I hit "run" I get an error that whatever plane I've selected is not found, even though I clearly see it on the drive.
Any ideas?
