What is this!?

A lot of terrain looks like this black/red glop. This started when I started using terraGIT.
Can this be explained somehow? Is there something in fgfs.log that I should check?

can you give me coordinates.. and I check if I see the same.
I have not seen that texture issue as of yet....

This is probably not terrain but a shader problem. Set back your urban shader and have a look again.

It looks normal on my computer IIRC, using terraGIT
I'll send screenshots your way when I am able.

I set the urban slider to minimum, nothing changed.
