Tracking the Chinese space station Tian Gong 1

This link will give a real time (ish?) tracking.

I wonder if they steer air traffic away in time to clear the airspace where it is going to land.

It will burn up in the atmosphere like Skylab did.

Yea, it did.

But it would be extremely last minute to divert air traffic, because even though it would burn up, some pieces may survive reentry to hit the surface. They were lucky it landed in the pacific.

Its initial predicted landing spot was Shanghai / N & S Korea / Japan until they refined the updated trajectory calculations, and if that were to happen, how is ATC going to react? The planes already in the air would probably not be able to do anything except watch some fireworks and hope nothing hits them.
