You have completed the whole landclass for Kerala.

No, only half of Kerala is done.

VOTV,
VOCI,
VOCC, and
VOCL are completed with a layout for the airports

Correct.

Now what is left for phase 1 is to generate the Land classes and airports with Terragear with the terminals
So then Phase 2 contains, groundnet.XML for airports.
Along with OSM Roads and buildings, and night lighting.

Read first post.
And also detailed texturing for every Airport by me.

Haven't planned that yet.

OK then after completing Kerela landclass editing we will generate Kerela with current airports having current layouts. (Btw are all the layouts uploaded into gateway.)

After that, we will model the terminals and other Airport buildings (eg: control tower, etc.) And we will create the OSM Roads for Kerela along with OSM Buildings.

Then we will create groundnet and parkings and other AI Information.

Now this would then complete Phase 1 of Kerela and we can then upload it to Terragit.

Now Phase 2 will have all buildings around the Airport and other monumental buildings modelled.
Then create liveries, advertisement in billboards etc. ;-) ;-)
And we also have to concentrate on night lighting both airports and surrounding roads and buildings.
Then detailing for airports ( No need to plan, that is one thing I can do great and I will do it. B-)
Then additional like cars and vehicles, some fireworks during night, etc. etc.

Thats is the complete plan, we'll focus on Kerela first and then move on to other states. (Are we to separate Telengana from Andhra or will we publish them together.)

Each phase would cover the whole country.

I am so determined to complete the landclass work, since its a tedious process since I am doing it from scratch and also I am trying to do it at High Quality.

I will generate one tile of Kerala before the whole state since it will tell me of any faults I am making during the landclass editing. After that it will be a long wait to finish the whole country because I am making the whole landclass as one file not state by state. So when I run ogr decode for each landclass it will be difficult as I progress.

I am incorporating the roads into the terrain as a landclass. So osm2roads wont be used.

As I said earlier all of this will be pushed to TerraGit directly so no state by state division there. I'll replace each tile with a new one.

At the end, it will take a long time for this project. We are trying on developing 3.287 million km². So be patient.

Great, but just one thing. Teenie tiny thing. Don't get angry about it, please Could you please upload it at least tile by tile as subdirectories of India. Then it would be easier to download, as a whole country or tile by tile. I am asking for sake of bandwitdh consumption. Later it'd be also easier to update it as it is tile by tile. :-) :-)

You can download like that in terraGit, You don't necessarily have to download the whole world (Its optional)

TerraGIT's India installation Script

Hi All,
To facilitate management of India installation/Deinstallation, I just pushed the India's Install script to terraGIT

USE

If you had not cloned terraGIT, begin doing it, as

Code: Select all

https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-TERRAGIT/terraGIT.git
cd terraGIT

After this step, you can install and or update all the India territory, as

Code: Select all

git pull
install/India

you can also deinstall the India scenery from your terraGIT folder as

Code: Select all

deinstall/India

Importantly, this feature allows you to update new India developement as the India development group progresses and patches terraGIT

Best,

It provides a way to install India and deinstall india via terraGIT on the fly.
It also facilitates testing and development of India, by providing a way to update India specifically, using all terraGIT capabilities.

[A method that was succesfully tested in Japan]
