Hi All,
The Andersen Airforce Base, located in Hagatna, in the U.S. territory of Guam was prepared in order to permit nocturnal operations for the USA Tour leg that arrived to Alaska, departing Guam.
Those days, PGUA featured a very simple double-default runway which was significantly different from what can be seen at Satt views
Given that the Tour was departing at around 1AM local time in Guam, I found myself in need to create my second WED layout (after SKRG's); that made night operations possible.
The layout was completed with a good amount of detail based both on FAA charts and other open sat views obtained in USGS explorer, and the scenery was created. Nowadays, this scenery is fully featured in the gateway, and can also be found in terrasync
A few military aircraft static models were created, starting from their FG Aircraft counterparts, and placed in some of the circular aprons that are very typical of this airbase.
These static models had never been uploaded to terrasync, so in order to obtain these you must obtain the custom scenery package repository indicated above.
J Maverick 16 got interested in this scenery and he created a few more structure with some shared models, which encouraged me to create an additional static object seen here:
So... if you plan to visit the far pacific territories, you may want to pay a visit to Andersen AFB in Guam
Enjoy
