If I get the gists here, this should be a win key phrase:

ok. That's nice number. but can we try again, without making it hard to type: How much guessing time in years will it take if the password is like this instead

Option A:

Code: Select all

Keep trying but this pwd is quite hard2guess

Option B:

Code: Select all

Keep trying but this pwd is quite hard to guess

Option C:

Code: Select all

Keep trying, but this pwd is quite hard to guess

I'm assuming making it harder to type did not help at all the case of shutting the computers in the face.
Beside 7E69 Years means, don't try until you get Quantum Computing all figured out.

All I'm saying is that windows may or may not complain about my password being back-compatible due to length.

Suffice to say that no human will EVER manage to guess that password.

Well, yeah, that should keep the script kids busy for a long time. Of course, if you have some real nasty pro on your heels, he uses a word database and alternating string subroutines and his search list starts with pass phrases with lots of w and e ... and the usual number-letter surrogates. It's called narrowing the critical path and it brings you down by some aeons compared to mindless loop brute force.
