Did you ever read a list of Prince Philip's top remarks. He has a reputation of being rude!
That is, rude as a joke.
Like, telling people at a community centre "who do you sponge off".
Not to get into UK politics, but welfare is just an excuse for lazy people to lie on their backs all day, and the NHS is a joke. An absolute joke.
My grandmother was sent home with a stone in her gallbladder duct, because she said she felt a bit better.

Let's get this a bit in perspective. If fguk lives in wales, that area will not be touched by the festival. Most likely airports at a considerable distance of each other will be manned, like London, Edinburgh and Dublin. If fguk has a problem with that, they are out of their mind. That would be the same as saying: We have an operation at EDDF, so everyone must stay out of the area Hamburg, Brussels, Zurich. Get real.

Are all the FGUK guys like that? I hope not.
If the UK does win, please send someone to negotiate who is not a psychopath.

FGUK (and EGOD in particular) is pretty much a zero-tolerance zone as far as ATC goes. So my guess is that participants in an ATC-event in the UK would simply be blanked/ignored by FGUK members. They would expect the same treatment from the EDDF triangle if they ran a formation flying event there. So I think the issue is now pretty much resolved

But it has been educational to have this discussion because it has established that ATC-types have zero concern for the wishes of people who do not want to be controlled and so there is no requirement to pay any attention to controlled areas any more, out of any sense of mutual respect.

Why don't we wait until we see if it is UK or not before we decide to discuss flyer rights in the UK. And if it is, I see no reason why EGOD can't be treated as its own atc zone, to be controlled as the FGUKers will (or won't)

2dly, about FGUK righteousness to prevent us to take UK by Festival-assault. All I can send is handkerchiefs, so they can cry it out, if that happens. Zero concern out of their zero tolerance policies here, on my side.

On the bright side, I really, really, really, really doubt, that FGUKers are loosing any piece of mind out of this, still remote, possibility.
Well... maybe except Maverick and Warty. You guys have 4 votes total in the festival's poll to prevent this catastrophic event of an UK festival. Use your democratic power then.

@Warty. Congratulations. You have won the first moderation request report in this forum -- which has maximum tolerance policies. Someone is feeling you are overstepping on the boundaries of civil discourse. (In only 5 posts!). MiG29Pilot can be very jealous on your achievement, because that is an honor he quested to obtain.
I won't remove any post of anyone, but I invite you to consider why other people is feeling you coming across as rude to the point of intolerable.
