Hey there, everyone-- I plan to be at the fly-in. Sounds like great fun. Sadly, due to commitments in real life, I won't be able to participate in the Festival this fall.
Nevertheless, I'll be debuting the all-new MD-10. And I really mean all-new. it0uchpods and I worked on taking dismantling the MD-10 and MD-11 and from the inside out rebuilt the entire aircraft. What a sweetie she is! We converted it to JSBsim, which opened up a whole new dynamic for power and flight control. It has the Advanced Common Flightdeck with the MD-11 just like in the real planes. The autopilot is fully functional and is the best that has ever been installed in the plane. With that now comes a true autoland feature that is operational in at least airports that have Category I, II, or III status. It may or may not work on other airports with ILS. We are still investigating that.
As always, it's a work in progress and there is more to be done, but the essential features are there and have been thoroughly tested. My thanks to Josh and the IDG crew for the hours of work they have put into making it one of the best flyable airplanes in FlightGear!

Looking forward to getting the MD-10 out by 21st if I can... worst case she's out on my birthday (28th)
And it's not only a conversion, but a 100% complete overhead of everything except 3D. Instruments, Systems, Sounds, Autoflight, you name it, we changed it!
I may be slightly late, I have a IRL flight, which ends an hour before this starts. Depending on traffic, if I grab lunch or something, might be a little late.
Kind Regards,
Josh

Seems a shame that the previous festival area couldn't be the departure point? Might make for some extremely long flights though.
Whats the chance of there being some scenery fixes to make Locher-Sarentino into an airfield?

Ready to fly. I updated Concorde's git repo, there is new version with 3D overhead panel. Please redownload and test it.
