Re: [SOLVED] DC-10's not 35th but 45th!!! Anniversary

Postby SkyBoat » Fri Oct 02, 2015 9:34 pm

Hi-- I'm looking for someone to create the original McDonnell-Douglas Roll-Out livery for the DC-10, [thirty-five] forty-five years ago in 1970***. Here's a screen shot of what it looks like. I have other photos, as well.

Reply to this post and I'll get a notification in my email if you are interested so we can work together.

Thanks!

***I made a mistake in looking at a brochure for the 35th anniversary from a decade ago and did not adjust for the time difference. My apologies.

Nope. As far as I can remember our paths haven't crossed in recent weeks, and no one has interfered with any of my landings.

@Skyboat

Congratulations for entering in the top 50th all the time FG pilot. And also on a very interesting assay over the conflict between Sciences and Religions on the Lego's thread

To help you conmemorate these events, I prepared the DC-10 Prototype livery.

Enjoy

(Note: I also standardized the TAB behavior as in other FG planes. The braking mode switch is now = [equal sign] )

@IAHM-COL--

Thank you so very much! I am honored that you would do this for me, both for my getting into the Top 50 and for the 35th Anniversary of the DC-10! I'll download the plane from the FGMEMBERS right now and take her out for a celebratory flight.

Mucho gracias!

Here it is! Screenshots of the new livery for the MD-10 celebrating not the 35th but the 45th Anniversary of the DC-10 first produced in 1970. Kudos to IAHM-COL for his wonderful work and for even finding the historically accurate tail number for this 1970 roll-out livery--N803U.

It was my mistake in looking at a brochure from a decade ago!
