I've been there...
anatomy classes can get gory, but one learns a lot from it.
A book cannot replace the hands-on-the-specimen experiences.
the complexity of muscles can and will be overwhelming. More than the initial "gory" feeling, you'll get shocked by the amount of detail you'll need to understand and memorize stuff.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

In Dutch we have a common expression: You have to learn it on an old bike. Ouch, there can be some sexual connotation in that. This will surely hurt the over sensitive souls of the people of the other forum reading here. What should i do? Hurt their oversensitive souls...? Live as my country is used to...? Hurt their oversensitive souls....? I guess i choose to neglect the religious extremists and live a healthy Dutch life.
