Its out and they have done a fantastic job with the base sim. Just needs the high-fidelity planes to be brought over from p3d but the default GA planes are really nice for the time being.
Here's some pics from our group flight today. The inbuilt multiplayer is really nice as well

Really very nice. Did You observed lags or stutters in flight ? What is Your HW specs ?

No, its all fine. Really nicely optimized but more GPU intensive than CPU unlike P3d.
i7 6700k 1080ti 12GB RAM (This needs an upgrade, I had no issues in p3d but here it mostly uses above 85% and once saw it go upto 92% usage. And that was New York, really heavy scenery)

On FG forum wlbragg presented some videos on medium details, all videos was very laggy and stuttering. I was very disappointed.

Its down to the hardware in the end. It is quite demanding, but considering how much it has to render I wouldn't criticize it.
Did some flying in California from O08 - KOAK with a tour of San Francisco.

Yep! The sim is so mind blowing and different from the other sims we have had in the past.

Please, if You can, test some liner - A320 or 747. I'm curious about FDM accuracy and systems simulation - MCDU, electric, hydraulic etc. Is boxed Neo comparable with FSL A320 ? What about Fly By Wire implementation ? Because in P3D is this thing poor.
And another thing - weather. How MSFS2020 depict CB clouds ? I tested P3Dv5 with Enhanced Atmosphere, towered clouds are not very good. Clouds coverage is too flat now. I know, EA is in beta stage, but release halfbaked commercial product is not very fair.
Thx in advance.

Hi, I haven't tried the 747 but the A320 is nowhere near the FSL A320. I will be staying clear of airliners until the 3rd party devs come out with their products. Asobo have themselves admitted they don't plan on making high-fidelity simulations of the airliners and if they do it'll take ages. If you are ONLY planning on flying airliners I wouldn't recommend this sim AT ALL CURRENTLY. Its nowhere near for that stuff. Right now, its only good for GA planes.
But, what you get out of the box is pretty impressive compared to P3d where you will need a lot of add-ons to get it to this level.

I don't know which FBW implementation you are talking about in p3d, but the FSL one represents it quite nicely.

I will need to test more before I comment and also I haven't tried P3d v5 so I cant compare the two.

This is my test flight P3Dv5 + ActiveSky ASP3D Beta 7 :
Config : P3Dv5 + ASP3D Beta 7 + Terra Emergence global texture pack, freeware LIMW and LOWI airports. I was bit disappointed, storm clouds are very similar, no towering CBs, or cumuluses mediocris and congestus
