L1011 has a flightdeck

Postby Octal450 » Mon Jun 06, 2016 10:34 pm

Most of it is copied from the DC-10-30, since I'm low on time, and they are very similar. I'll post pics soon.
I also will install the new SYS8/IT2 AUTOFLIGHT Hybrid system.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

We have progress.

Everything works but no the VOR, and no the reverser, since reverser no work yet on the plane, and no the autopilot panel yet, I still must install the AP.

I did no push to GIT yet, until everything works.

No, there is no autopilot yet, I am in the process of installing the IT2 logic.
It takes a decent amount of reworking of some systems, before the logic loads correctly.

IT2 is an interface. It creates a simple way to connect switches to an autopilot, and allows for arming LOC and G/S systems. It comes with a generic autopilot, but can be easily adapted to use a different autopilot. The SYS8 hybrid uses custom SYS8 controllers with the IT2 retrofit.

Want to test it? I push very soon, mapping the AP panel to the IT-AUTOFLIGHT now.
