I built a VIP A346.

Postby Octal450 » Mon Jun 06, 2016 5:33 am

I decided to build my VIP plane on the A340-600HGW, and its there!

Fully working as of now, I decided to customize the GPWS sounds a little bit. :D

I will be adding all sorts of workshop stuff to it later.

Please test fly: https://github.com/it0uchpods/A340-600VIP

Regards,

You so need a pancake antenna and some tanker capabilities ;-)
oh ... and your own logo on the tail!

The flying workshop was an aircraft that JWocky designed to assist troubled pilots on the USA tour.
It is, an aircraft with tanker capabilities, AWACS capabilities, and other enhancements focused to be a support aircraft to help tour pilots in distress

Since JWocky is a 100% Boeing guy he built his Flying Workshop on a 767 background

Last USA tour, it0uchpods was in urgent need to fix an A310 on the air, which brought him to the realization he also needs his own flying Workshop

Since he is an Airbus type of a guy, his workshop in mounted in an A340-600HGW background :P

I actually built my workshop of the A340-600HGW, since its the first plane I ever touched. Granted I like Airbus, but not much more Boeing. I'm still McDonnell Douglas all the way! But since I'm already working on the A340-600HGW, I thought I'd use that. I add a dish on top, and a tanker capabilities,

EDIT: Yep, I am basing it off some 767, but I plan to revamp the whole thing. The A346HGW became too heavy once I installed my equipment and dish :(

If you don't mind me asking, what is this whole VIP thing?

Very Important People - plane

Typically, private jet versions companies sell to luxury clients, big companies, heads of state, and that type of folk.

See, per example the VIP by Jwocky contains a BBJ (Boeing Business Jet), a 748VIP (and a 748 -very-VIP too), and a Lineage 1000

Yeps, I will be remodeling the cabin of the VIP A346 soon!
I am adding the walk around too, and the cockpit door will open.
