Hi Jmav
I don't think it's possible to send clickspots and functions over MP.

But yet MP-dual control (even if it is a "sit there and smile") it would be nice. I'll update the TODO list.

Ok I've just tested the KC and I get the warning sound every time I start up the engines till I start taking off, plus the AP off sound keeps screaming every time I get in game.
AP works fine but for unknown reason, FG crashes...

Sit there and smile is doable, definitely.

Which warning sound??

Whoops, I may have made the volume wrong, and the sound playing when starting is a bug in IT-AUTOFLIGHT, will be fixed in V2.1.1. It affects all planes right now. (again, my bad)

Well, unless you put a crash report I can't help you. She runs fine for me.

About the 777 AP, do you think it's possible to make ours starting off the 777 3D model?
I mead, we avoid the 3D work by using the already existing model and we build from scratch the code as you would do with an AP you create from nothing, is that possible?
Anyway, I've changed the trim sound and readded in the xml sound file (based from the 737-800, which is much more silent) But it's still annoying so I think we should do away with that sound really. Unless we find a very very silent noise for it.
Also, FG keeps crashing when I use the KC, here's the log:

Code: Select all

WARNING: input type element has weird usage (bb)

WARNING: input type element has weird usage (1)

environment init
Help infosystem started
EFIS ... FINE!
Electrical System ... Initialized
AUTOFLIGHT LOGIC ... FINE!
AUTOFLIGHT ... FINE!
Chronometer ... Check
Pilot dual control ... initialized
LOAD Nimitz/ai/models/carrier
Brake System... OK
Multiplayer mode active!
AL Error (sound manager): Invalid Operation at update

Now I've restarted flight again, will see what happens.

UPDATED TO-DO LIST IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE (deadline TBD):

KC-137R:
1) make a whole new AP panel in the center part of the cockpit from scratch.
2) put new radio comms under the throttle levers + TACAN instrument (using 757/787 as reference).
3) improve the trims (using 757/787 as reference).
4) work on the boom operator office (new instruments, etc. + onox)
5) work on fuel tanks and payloads (reduce available payload and add a standard load, implement fuel consumption while refueling, onox as reference).
6) improve ATA refueling (boom texture and model + code, onox model)
7) create custom CDUs which work properly (size, position and texture).
8) add a MFD between the two CDUs which works as TCAS, systems, and other.
9) 3D engines models: UV map, smoke.
10) improve engines sounds.
11) work on both engineer and overhead panel (improve instruments and move some from the eng to the oh).
12) add a few passenger seats to the cabin.
13) remove/change cargo loaders (onox model)
14) implement MP dual control for co-pilot and boom operator.
15) add those nice CSeries headphones to the top of the cockpit.
16) edit/fix some textures (pedestrial, gear, ...)
17) add the 707 refuel switch to the RT.

EC-137R:
1) improve the whole cockpit by re-organizing the instruments (clock, trims, ...)
2) remake many textures for it (JMav)
3) improve the AWACS officer area by adding maps, NDs, upgrade/remove current instruments)
4) change AWACS officer point of view.
5) create new liveries for it (JMav)
6) make a whole new AP panel in the center part of the cockpit from scratch.
7) put new radio comms under the throttle levers + TACAN instrument (using 757/787 as reference).
8) improve the trims (using 757/787 as reference).
9) create custom CDUs which work properly (size, position and texture).
10) add a MFD under the engines display which works as TCAS, systems, and other.
11) improve the airframe 3D model (searching volunteers)
12) 3D engines models: UV map, smoke.
13) improve engines sounds.
14) work on both engineer and overhead panel (improve instruments and move some from the eng to the oh).
15) remove/change cargo loaders (onox model)
16) implement MP dual control for co-pilot and AWACS officer.

This is the lot.

Yup. Except the AWACS will have the IAE V2500-A5. Not CFM.

The KC just flew EDDF-LFLH without any problems. It's an amazing tanker! I love flying it!

Ok, new engines are awesome but I want them for the AWACS only, unless it's really about inventing fictional planes.

Also, I found some bugs, at least on my PC:
- registration text on the livery seems to break the livery from certain angles of view.
- EPU's new 3D model's missing. THere are only GPU texture and the new sound.
- Pilots have to be fixed in the CFM version. (switched from military to civil)
- AP doesn't respond when increasing altitude or at least it's a bit weird some times.

Hope to catch you later so we can continue improving stuff! ;)
