Has Itouchpads opened the .ac in AC3D and looked at the model carefully? It appears to have no surface smoothing, this in itself is an easy fix, *if* it's not made of a bunch of exploded and extruded polygons like the B&V 138 Seedrache was.

What model are you importing this from, and have you checked your import settings so the polygon's vertexes remain merged with their neighbor ones? And why is every surface getting an automatic extrusion? It makes the model 3 times as polygon count heavy for no good reason.

Hi Lesbof.
It was I, not it0uchpods who found the 3d model.

I think we are out of luck, here.
I did apply smoothing and still the 3d model had that appearance, which is a similar problem than with the BV138.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

Well I took the liberty to open it in my ancient copy of AC3D and it's actually OK in that regard, but there are a few problems, The surfaces are unsmoothed like I suspected, but luckily the objects are all 'merged' poly for poly, and the other problem, landing gear surfaces are inverted, which I've fixed both.

sure, you'll have to go through my mediafire link. I should check over the interior and the cockpit also before getting too ahead of myself.
