I write all my systems using XML. no nasal what so ever...
what I meant was
- flying/testing
- scientific knowledge (related to simulating)
- content support (supporting content development, ie testing, specialist knowledge)
- system support sysadmin (supporting core development)
- none of the above, but something else to contribute

Re: Thinking of a poll
Not really.
Nasal and XML are used for different things. Example:
Electrical system made in Nasal.
Overpanel click spots and animations in XML
Maybe some support XML logic.
But they are vastly different. You can no combine them.

Re: Thinking of a poll
That's oversimplifying it. You can also do an amazing electrical system using xml (JSBsim) with update rates nasal couldn't even touch.

Re: Thinking of a poll
That looks good Bomber, and i understand the XML/Nasal argument. But i do not see room to distinguish core and content here (we would need more options again). So i made it slightly different. But, we have 10 now!
- fdm (JSBsim, YAsim)
- XML scripting
- Nasal Scripting
- C++ programming
- 3d (aircraft, scenery objects)
- 2d (liveries, scenery texturing)
- UV mapping
- development support (testing, specialist knowledge)
- system support (administrating the development environment)
- none of the above, but something else to contribute
Kind regards, Vincent
