Hello all
I started my own A320Family based off the A320-family, but importing the A320neo FDM model, and cockpit. I then replaced the sharklets with standard airbus winglets, engines with IAE V2500 (CFM56 coming later) and she looks pretty good. I plan to rewrite most of the systems, and am making new instruments, to make the most realistic Airbus A320 Family out there.
I am first doing the A320-200 with V2500 engines, then I will add the A319 and A321 with V2500, then I'll add the CFM, and then after that, the A318.
EDIT: Screenshots outdated, so I removed them, because I an can HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best part: It uses the same paintkit as the A320-Family AND A320neo! So many more liveries will be added very soon.

@FL2070
Has your sounds, they are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why, I said it right here:
I alreayd knew how to do it, but I had to do it over cause I lost the old folder.
To make the cockpit fit correctly in the fuselage, I actually used the A320neo fuselage, and wings, but replaced the sharklets, and engines.
It is on my github, but not flyable. I disabled the AP until JWOCKY and I have sorted the FDM's fuel and stability issues.
And I have a new ECAM like this: http://www.flyian.net/cockpit/pits/a320/ecam.jpg in the works, not done yet tho.
Soon will be!
@oscar
What are your skills?

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
A320 style IAE ECAM Upper part finished, still missing a few minor things, flap indicator, and warnings/messages.
Eng1 is off, Eng2 on.
Looks nice in the flightdeck!!!
I also fixed the autospeedbrake, the disarm and retract by only pressing CTRL+B once after they deploy, they work for RTO, and Landings. Same functionality as in my A340s. (ported from there also the Airbus Thrust system, etc.)
Other than that, I fixed the fuel tank feed issues, and JWOCKY and I should be able to sort out the FDM soon enough.
AND:
Hello A321!
Latest pushed to GIT. (link in first post)
Best,
Josh

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
I just pushed, I changed the CG and AERORPs in the A320-200 (NOT the A321 yet). Did a little test flying manually with almost empty and brutal loaded, but nothing in between. Now, I had no time, but acan someone check the engine and tank positions. For my feeling,t hey are not even near to the wings, but I am no 3D man so I can't look in the model.
Other questions:
- She has an unhealthy tendency to roll on her own
- She is quite nervous on the ground while taxiing
but for both those points, I am not sure whether my joystick is contributing to it, so I need some opinions about that. And of course Josh's opinion about the new pitch behavior

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
OK, I'll pull and try it.
I can't help with engine positions. They are not in the same model as the wings. If I had to guess, I'd say it could be found out by doing some math. I'll try to find it later.
Keep in mind: I will have 3 models: A319, A320, A321. I don't plan to add the A318 for a while since a lot changes. I add the A319 this afternoon

Re: Airbus A320 Family Development
Just look at the positions where they are defined in a JSB file. 598 or so on the x-axis, so for my feeling, they are quite forward of the wings and maybe even on wing level, the positions are weird, or maybe it's just me.
