do you mean terrain is over the runway?

Parts of it, parts are under. Since the runway is supposed to be flat, maybe someone forgot to fallten out the sand under the runway?

Oh Ok.

This problem is the same that brings airport under ground and under water. There was an elevation problem when the Scenery 2.0 was constructed that the officials failed to catch up.

World Scenery should have been regenerated for at least 2 years now to correct this globally, yet it has not been done, and I have no idea when this is going to be scheduled. Until then, terrasync scenery is better considered globally broken by default

It could be possible to consider regenerating the terrain, but terrasync sources are not open to be modified by anyone, thus the work of generating terrain and inheriting all terrasync objects into a correct terrain; although doable is extremely complex.

Terrain in FG would be better set with a modular approach, that allows modules to be present as individual github repositories. That is a suggestion I made that hung in the air with no counter or pro arguments.

Finally, I guess what I am saying is, the list of broken airport is huge and unknown, and the problem is Global.

We just write them down as we find them?

mmm

On one hand sounds cool

On the other... the list is going to be enormous and of low usage. Those airports are not going to be fixed one at a time, but on a whole-world terrain generation that is way overdo

I will speculate there is at least a 20% of airports affected worldwide. We really have no use for a thousands and thousands of broken airports list, other than to prove a point :S

The point is, if we get some dozen test cases for terrain problems and some dozen for ILS problems and some dozen for buildings on the runway, may be overlapping, we got test data.
