If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

Talking About distances
Hi @ALL;
I have previously considered the "distances" problematic referring to South East Asia.
In fact, earlier in the candidates decision I pushed Raven to reduce South East Asia to "Peninsular" South East Asia, to made it somehow "acceptable" in terms of sizing of the festival area.
(In other words, if we would have include Maritime South East Asia, then the flights could have been enormous).
Now,
The way I see it, is that this festival size offers really convenient flights for pilots of all styles.
It has great short range flights (like WSSS-WMKK) and great flights of the "short regional jet" envelope --Like WSSS - VTBS) and it has the long range pleasure (for pilots willing to do 2h or aboutish flight. The longest possible flight is already covered, from Singapore to Mandalay.
See the following map showing the distances from the main hubs (some of them not yet offered) to Mandalay
The distance table is by the great circle mapper, as follows:
No major airport can be found in the region above Mandalay, but if other small airports on Myanmar would get served that will only benefit the festival's SEAsia to the north.
Keep in mind that pilots that enjoy short -range hoping have a wonderful alternative to cover the area.
example (northbound)
Singapore (or Kuala Lumpur) -> Phuket (or Ho-Chi-Min) -> Bangkok -> Vientiane (or Hanoi) -> Mandalay
That's quite a nice ferry route in nice hops, drawn as follow
A graphical view of that is this
Notice that the only 2 post currently not-yet serviced on such possible set of plans are Vientiane (VLVT) and Hanoi (VVNB).
Finally, also consider that no single flight above exceeded 760 nm, and most are within an average of 500 nm
