OK guys

AFTER 6 HOURS OF HARD WORK!

I PRESENT:

FLY BY WIRE!!!!

In addition, I have sorted some of the lift/drag issues, and also some flight control issues.

It is not complete tonight, so sadly I won't be pushing it yet... But tomorrow, it should be available!

Regards,
Josh

I'm eager to test a good implementation of 'die-by-wire'.

That's awesome J.

Alright guys
THE BIG PUSH PART 3 OF 5 IS HERE!!!!

Featuring:
Completely Custom Fly By Wire System (experimental)
Many fixes to systems
New Reverse Thrust system using F1 and F2
Some lift/drag corrections

The following FBW is modeled:
NORMAL LAW: bank protection 33deg, unless stick pushed hard, then 67deg. Pitch up 30deg, down -15deg. Autotrim function
ALTERNATE LAW: no bank/pitch deg protection, Autotrim function
DIRECT LAW: flight control deflection is proportional to stick deflection, no no bank/pitch deg protection, no Autotrim
BACKUP LAW: elevator aileron do nothing, no no bank/pitch deg protection, no Autotrim, Use Rudder and MAN PITCH TRIM only

FBW disabled when electrics are not powered

* Note: The laws will not degrade by themselves. I have not modeled failures yet.

Coming soon:
PFD Annunciations for law modes
NORMAL LAW: AoA protection, ALPHA max protection, etc
Yaw Damper/Coordinator

FAQ:
* IF THE AIRBUS A320 IS HARD TO FLARE:
This is a design of the FBW system, called FLARE mode. It is to remind the pilot to flare the airplane. If the controls are neutral, then the FBW will slowly lower the pitch, so pull back on your stick, and it will stop. Note, that during flare, you may need more force, than usual. This is normal.

* The FBW is crashing/stalling/diving my plane:
Pause the sim (p), Open Aircraft Config, and click FBW Settings, then click Use Direct LAW
(optional - recommended) Note down your altitude, speed, flap setting, and throttle position, then go to Debug --> Property Browser, and go ti it-fbw, then note down the values of law, pitch-deg and roll-deg. This helps me to debug/fix the FBW

* Reverse Thrust does not work!
Yes it does, push F2 once to open the reversers, then continually push F2 to increase reverse thrust. Push F1 to decrease reverse thrust, and after reverse thrust is at idle, pushing F1 again will switch reverse thrust off.

Question:
Should I add a button to immediately switch off Reverse Thrust?
