3 months holiday while studying Medicine? India treats students way tooooo kind!

If you don't pass first year you can't go to second year. It takes time for the evaluation. Almost one answer booklet has an average of 35 written pages, like that for 6 papers (Each subject has Paper-I, and Paper-II) for one student. Takes quite some time.


The rest of the years won't be like this, just continuous. First year gap is to throw the failed candidates

And I would never say that the Indian education treats the students kind.

(Though the article says its all about memorisation that is wrong, to get admission into colleges you've to write entrance exams which require you to have sound knowledge of the subject)

But I can say proudly I was one among the 2000 (no of government medical college seats) students out of 650000 who wrote the entrance exam. [Not a ]

Bad news - Back to college after 2.5 months vacation
