And now, it is official, the last leg of the USA Tour is flown. Alas, FG had to crash in sight of the runway for me, but otherwise, it was a lot of fun, a nice flight with nice people, that was, what the USA Tour was all about. For five years, starting with just one pilot, IAHM-COL and later with events with over twenty planes, the USA Tour have been some regular and quite crystallizing event, despite all the little hate and troll attacks, we had to suffer sometimes. Moreover, the Tour has brought a lot new planes, improvements of old planes, scenery improvements, a lot of them and in many aspects a lot of progress to the world of FG, even the "official" faction would probably deny that. The harsh way they tried to deny it for the last years proves in fact, it is true.
But now, it's over. Which makes me think, what's next? The people are still there, the planes are still there, FG is still there ... so, what's next? Because I think, we need to find something to fill that gap that opens now. Maybe not the harshest and worst airports of the world, maybe no the mindless food tour ... those were some of the suggestions made ... but something. Because aside of all that lfying and plane talk, the USA Tour was a social event and that is, where it will leave now the biggest gap. Soooo, time to get to work and figure something out!

In my specific case

1. monthly is good schedule
2. if it does not conflict with the FACCT or a FG Festival
3. Saturday is best. Sunday a possibility
4. Afternoon UTC is best.
5. Weekdays are a definite no-no. I couldnt fit it on my own schedule. [Several of the other FGers have no qualm with this]

That plan is very good. If I can vote, first trip should be Anchorage to Juneau as small excercise, then from Toncontin to Merida, then some airports at Andy mountains in Peru. We shoul not forget on Saba(swimming suits mandatory in case of rwy overshot), Innsbruck, we should look at Gibraltar, Funchal at Madeira and as great semifinale B747 vs Paro. Finale is ofcourse kamikaze mission from Thribuvan to Lukla. For hardcore pilots who thinks about suicide with Triple Seven.
