Just some thoughts ...

Curtis' forum is his forum, he bears responsibility for what happens there.
This forum is, despite the fact, that I surrendered some of the powers, that come with running a forum to the community, is my forum and thus, here I bear responsibility.
And whoever runs a Discord channel bears the responsibility there.

Translation: I am neither really interested in Curtis' forum nor in Discord at this time. If Usairways comes up here and behaves, I will not even waste a minute to look what he does elsewhere. If he comes up here and shows some kind of weird behavior, I will talk to him. Lets be honest here, we had over the time some people here with growing pains, with personal crises that made them for a time act "weird", hell at some point, even I had some anger issues here. Oh wait ... Jabberwocky and some anger issues are not that new ... but bottom line is, we have here a quite long history with all kinds of incidents. People forget, but some members are here since years, mellowed in many aspects, lives changed. If we would have applied "he is a troll" as measure back then, I think, there would be some more people missing here today. Well, some few trolls got trolled here, that comes with the territory. Some hang on. Most of them developed in quite respectable men, known today more for flying or developing skills.
There are some things, this community did, that neither Curtis' forum nor Discord can do, as it looks because behind the scenes, the forum here is not just a technical thing, it is just the technical expression of a community. Or it was, till many went off to Discord. Honestly, I wish, we could go back more to this community view on things. But then, unlike Curtis, I am not a king or something. I don't usually threaten people with "bow or ban" policies. So, this is just some food for thought.
