If I had not mentioned. there's a new Fokker fighter I'm working on.
It's presently with the BMW IIIa high compression SOHC inline six cylinder of about 200 hp. This is the aircraft and engine that changed the fortunes temporarily for the German Air Service in Summer of 1918, before the might of US manufacturing base and new army personnel and aircraft started serving in strength on the Western front.
The only Allied planes that were a close match for the D.VII were the late period 220 HP Spad XIII, the Sopwith Snipe with the Bentley 220 HP rotary and the RAF SE5a Wolsley Viper 200 hp. Udet mentioned it was his favorite plane to fly acrobatically and it could be 'hung on it's prop' at +60 degrees while crawling along in a full stall at less than 30 knots airspeed for a few seconds before falling off. Some plots used this as a way to attack twin Lewis gunned Scarff turreted Allied two-seaters that would have been dangerous to attack from above or at level.

A quick review revealed some animation problems, ( hopefully ) all fixed in this version.

Re: Fokker D.VII from FS-WWI
After reviewing the glide performance of this I'm finding it doesn't seem to glide all that well. I started with the engine off 8 miles from an airport at 7k feet and reached ground level about a half mile from the runway. AGA was about 6100' at start. new idrag entries seemed to steepen the glide slope some.

Re: Fokker D.VII from FS-WWI
I'll get the revisions updated soon.
In addition I've added a non intrusive start-up feature.
Most WWI aircraft used air pressurized fuel tanks to pump the gas to the engine. Most of them this involved a tire handpump looking affair that put a few P.S.I. air pressure into the tank before switching on the taps.
You have the option of starting the engine normally by switching on the mags and propping it over. Or, if you mouse click the in-cockpit fuel tank pressure handpump handle on the right side in front of the seat, (Oops It's missing the seat!.. ) it will animate and you will have to click it 20 times to turn the fuel taps on..
I left this optional because invariably there will be someone who doesn't read a help file, like myself.
