@Les: I downloaded the plane from the new link you provided, deleting the older version, first. I'm still getting a lot of Nasal errors, many being pulled from an A332. It doesn't really make sense because I had not yet activated multiplayer.

I noticed the altimeter appears fuzzy, then I realized it looks like two alts are being generated, one on top of the other. That is certainly possible if it is being pulled from two files at the same time, although the knob properly turns the dial to set the alt/baro.

But the most serious issue was after taking off (and as you said it should), it was climbing nicely at 1000fpm and I was going to 10000 feet, without warning between 6000 and 7000 ft with a KIAS of about 73 kts, the program crashed, just froze up and and even froze up my computer. Nothing I did could get it to release, so I had to reboot the machine. So I lost everything from my console.

I restarted the plane and just let it sit running of the ground, then copied the error messages from the console:

That's my update. Perhaps Josh needs to look at it and figure out why you would have all these A332 Nasal errors and see if they can be gotten rid of.

We should find some time to hash this out using Mumble, as I'm tinkering with stuff real time and these updates are often deprecated by the time I reply.

I could check make sure if I have more than one .xml call for the panel and instruments, I've been over it 3 times though.

I've updated the update @ about 2:40 after double checking and somehow the old version that was causing grief was still in the .zip I uploaded.

I'm completely stumped how that happened :?:

But AFAIK this is about the simplest FG aircraft I've made, I don't have any complex .nas files running on it like the gun turreted and engine coup rotary planes I'm fixing up. I was going to make the liveries later this week, so if enough users are flying either this or the AVRO 504 we can have a way to identify who's who on the flight line.

In other news the HP-O400 now has two working gun turrets, and it's pretty awesome.

I know why the altimeter is 'fuzzy looking', I somehow got the glass's texture changed to the dial face texture, There's a 'glass.png' texture in the folder with the 3D file of the altimeter. It used to be linked to the vitre or glass part of the altimeter. I've got it fixed in my copy, I'll need to delete the zip in Mediafire and reload this again....

Otherwise I don't know why you're having a game crash, as I just had one also. and I've gone into the .stg files for the London area and cleared out a lot of modern buildings and other frame-rate and memory eaters. London seems to be somewhat of a problem area as I don't have this issue if I load in at Stow Maries and travel North. There's always this big slow down and lag when I get within about 20 NMiles of London.

I'm beginning to wonder if we shouldn't have a Zeppelins over Norwich event...?

@Lester-- I think if you could resolve those odd Nasal errors with the A332, it might take care of the problem. The plane should just not be pulling those. I can't think of any reason why this WWI aircraft needs to pull Nasal code from a modern Airbus A332. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Happy wet sunshine today. Right now, we are getting smacked with a lot of rain!

I don't have the A332 installed so I have no idea where this problems is coming from, as even in my logfiles there's no mention of any nasal issues. :?

It's a real simple aircraft, no complex AP or engine FADEC or other involved instrumentation nasals.
