Perfomance hit is a function of object density with a positive slope. (English: The more OSM2City objects the worse is going to be)
So, if Chitose is not very dense in OSM then your hit is maybe not significant.
OTOH, the performance improvement I make is less aesthetic than the raw OSM2CITY output. It sacrifices bling for performance. In Geneve, it was a MUST, but maybe in Chitose you are good from the start.
We'll see.
And, about my script. No, it will not work out of the box in any Windows (XP, Vista, 7 or 8). It contains some
bash scripts, which is dependent on that certain terminal interpreter -- which is not the terminal interpreter of Windows.
