most 2d work is completed. Now it's time to jump to 3d work. like in blender
You want to start trying? how about begin in the cargo apron. This is one of the southermost corners of that apron
The DHL bldg

You may want to look for it online to see pictures from the side, not only a top view. That'll help the modelling.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

If I recall correctly, D-LASER built it using OSM2Roads.
It just did not seem to be enabled or something when I tested, but if you look at D-LASER's shots, the bridge's done.

Ah good, one thing less to do. Re cargo apron, consider it done.

Maybe it could be the DHL-JAFVA partner cargo hub in Japan :P
Like Geneve.

No. the JAFVA and FGMEMBERS buildings are the ones in front of the connecting bridge. JAFVA is terminal 2. FGMEMBERS is the FEDEX Asian hub. ;)
(more visibility, than out in a corner of the airport ;) )

I made the DHL...
I did it using a measure tool to find the area, then guessing the height by the shadow in the map. Will see if it fits into Kansai, in the right location...

Beginning of Kansai Warehouse. I know how to UV UNRAP now, but making the textures may be hard.

that looks oversized on the x-y, and tiny on the z
(LMAO)
Good for a first try.
Dont you feel it is a bit very squary?

Step #1. get the dimension just right.

I think a good 20 blender units off the y (long) and maybe 10 off the x(width), and adding 10 to the z will work wonders :)
Yep, it is a bit square... how could I add a 'barrel vault roof', which is what the sattelite map looks like to me? (Just half a barrel on top of a square building -- imaginr that.).

Sir, requesting permission to upload the DHL hangar (untextured) and corresponding shared models. No DHL trucks; had to use FEDEX ones :)
