Keep in mind that I'd dissuade you to use this server for JAFVA purposes, since Omega is not completely done with the Tracking system he is trying to implement, yet.
For other flies, it works great. And for multiplayer action, it has the best latency, it is the fastest, and has the largest range (600nm) of any MPserver.

I tried, FG shows that I am connected but I am not visible on the map....

It connects ok, but the map is not updating
I will try to contact omega again why the map does not show the pilots conected again. Everything else on the server works.

Note: Keep in mind, the server is isolated from other FG mpservers. That is, you get to see pilots both connected in the FGMEMBERs servers (on a range up to 500 nm), but no-one on other servers.

If you are using the latest version of fgms, this may not be working anymore. After the visibility-nm property was introduced, the server ignores the server.out_of_reach value, defaulting it to 100, and instead uses server.max_radar_range. server.max_radar_range is set to the maximum allowed visibility range that clients can set. I believe the other FG servers have this set to 1000nm. I have mine set to 4000nm, and haven't seen any issues (running latest git). Visibility now has to be set client-side, however.

Richard can correct me if I'm wrong about it ignoring the out_of_reach value, that's just what we experienced after the change.
