Slack for FGMembers

Postby SHM » Wed May 04, 2016 2:30 pm

Based on the suggestion of Imran Anees, I decided it was nice to get ourselves a slack account.

Just send a PM with your email to me to add you there.

What exactly is slack? :D

I know of slackware, but slack by itself rings no bell
If this is other sort of facebok, twitter or alike, I am now less naive about wanting to sign up.

I try to see inside, but the content seems to be unavailable to non-members. That alone drops its interests to me, with an exponential decay.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

yeah. Messaging up == some sort of twitter to me :S
That's out of my interest realm.

Now, it seems you have to log to read. It's a by subscription information channel, and it facilitates secrecy.

I will consider being out in the meantime.
