Hi Everyone--
We talk a lot about liveries and it occurred to me that we should have a separate category for liveries here in the Aircraft Development section. It would make it much easier for those interested in requesting a livery and for those who like to create liveries to have a specific category to work from.
Also, we have two distinct subdivisions of liveries, unlike the FG administrators, who only allow historically accurate liveries in their Wiki catalog. We have a lot of people (including myself) who have custom or "fantasy" liveries that are only distributable when someone requests a clone of that particular custom version of the aircraft.
So, I suggest that we create a category for liveries that looks like this:
Liveries
Historical Liveries
Custom Liveries
It would provide a "work space" for a lot of activity that is already going on and make it much easier for folks to find each other with mutual interest in the topic.
And, to disclose my ulterior motive, 2015 is the 35th anniversary of the DC-10 and I'd like someone to create the original McDonnell-Douglas livery of the first generation plane.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?
