Re: Fokker D.VII from FS-WWI
I'll get the revisions updated soon. In addition I've added a non intrusive start-up feature. Most WWI aircraft used air pressurized fuel tanks to pump the gas to the engine. Most of them this involved a tire handpump looking affair that put a few P.S.I. air pressure into the tank before switching o...

Re: Fokker D.VII from FS-WWI
After reviewing the glide performance of this I'm finding it doesn't seem to glide all that well. I started with the engine off 8 miles from an airport at 7k feet and reached ground level about a half mile from the runway. AGA was about 6100' at start. new idrag entries seemed to steepen the glide s...

OK I found the mystery memorial in FG scenery, Thiepval Memorial. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d2/Thiepval_Memorial_to_the_missing.jpg/800px-Thiepval_Memorial_to_the_missing.jpg A memorial to the missing British and Commonwealth soldiers who died fighting on this front betw...

@Lester-- I'm going to be flying the HP O/400 and my landing experience on a level runway was entertaining. Bring two big bowls of popcorn. Extra butter. It's gonna be an interesting flight what with the rain and low clouds https://media2.giphy.com/media/13hPPo7Ieb9OW4/200w.gif#6-grid1

Re: Warbirds
Well I gave Discord a try, it's really not working well at all for my system. I think Mumble chat will remain my voice chat.

Re: Remembrance Day 11/11/17 18:00 UTC LFAQ Albert Somme
Quick rundown on the route: Starting at Albert-Bray LFAQ, and climb out to whatever VFR ceiling we get to work with considering the predicted cloudiness. We make a heading @ about 117 to Peronne LFAG, then turn right to about heading 206 to Compiegne LFAD, then left to about 97 for Soissons-Courmels...

Re: Remembrance Day 11/11/17 18:00 UTC LFAQ Albert Somme
Another old WWI era bomber: the Vickers Vimy actually didn't serve as I believe it was released a little too late to the end of WWI. http://www.mediafire.com/file/w34q97336u0346a/Vickers-Vimy.zip It's a good include and it's a little less fussy about takeoffs. I''ve done some FDM adjustments to Heli...

Re: Remembrance Day 11/11/17 18:00 UTC LFAQ Albert Somme
And here's the HP-O/400 this is the big, British heavy twin engine bomber that served from February 1917 to the end of the war. http://www.mediafire.com/file/s551jwjk5uw65u1/HP-O-400.zip Flight Notes! It's got a pretty severe AoA to the main wings while taxiing and in headwinds, with it's tail skid ...
