Re: WWI and WWII era scenery

If Simon hasn't already seen this. This video was recorded in FG, flying from the aerodrome in Belfort Chaux ( Sergamany) near Belfort that I created using FS-WWI artwork.

Re: WWI and WWII era scenery

Haha I did not know who your father is! :D OK. Let's see who else pops up interested in this. I'm short of time atm, but later I'll be able to do terragear work for sceneries with ancient airport layouts, simplified lanclasses for smaller cities and larger forest and greenspaces, and reduced road-n...

Re: WWI and WWII era scenery

I'm not looking to restrict someone into using GPL... Well the original FS-WWI scenery models were a collaboration with Mossie and ArgonV when Mossie was doing work with Fighter Squadron WWI back in 2004-2008. I've kept them as non commercial as part of ArgonV's concerns were the work of past FS-WW...

Yes, you may like it better, of not. :?:

It's pretty zippy, rolls on a dime and climbs really fast. You know that the Alb DIII and DVa both served well into 1918?

Re: Remembrance Day 11/11/17 18:00 UTC LFAQ Albert Somme

Badass was Voss' single-handedly fighting 5 SE5as of 56 squadron all at once before someone got lucky.

But then there was William Barker who fought with 15 Fokker DVII's on an escort sortie. :ugeek: He was UberBadass!

Re: Remembrance Day 11/11/17 18:00 UTC LFAQ Albert Somme

This should be a nice flight and we're flying planes with better air-speeds, so roughly 90~ 100 knots average. It should be a technically interesting flight as Nancy Malzeville is on top of a bluff/plateau and has several different approaches. Albert is steeped in WWI lore in the heart of the Somme ...

Fokker D.VII from FS-WWI

If I had not mentioned. there's a new Fokker fighter I'm working on. https://static.rcgroups.net/forums/attachments/2/9/6/9/a10489691-238-fgfs-screen-210.jpg It's presently with the BMW IIIa high compression SOHC inline six cylinder of about 200 hp. This is the aircraft and engine that changed the f...

Remembrance Day 11/11/17 18:00 UTC LFAQ Albert Somme

This year's theme: Two-Seaters, Bombers, and pursuit planes. Arrive at Albert Bray LFAQ and we'll do a flight down to Nancy Malzeville LFEZ. I hope to have a few new planes debugged and released for this flight. Please update your FG aircraft folder with the present FGMEMBERS Non commercial WWI offe...
