So is FGMEMBERS prepared to be legally liable for its content?
Or perhaps, in this case it would be GitHub.
for instance, the 777 has a sound ripped from the PMDG 777. I have since replaced that sound, but its still available in the history.
If this copyright law is passed it might not be very good for sites such as github which allow free, unfiltered hosting of files.

Re: Copyright 2019
You would delete repository and create new with only licenced content. History gone.
Re: Copyright 2019
The whole point of history is for it to be available, deleting it because of a single file in thousands defeats the whole thing of using a control repository.
Well done for removing this copyrighted file, however don't you think it's a shame that you've highlighted it's existance in the history... I'd never have known, or been bothered to look, being quite happy with the latest working revision.
Let's not make a mountain out of an mole hill here.

Re: Copyright 2019
That's all fine and well until PMDG comes along and brings it up.
Re: Copyright 2019
The point here is that you acting for FGMembers has replaced the sound in it's current issue...
This is a show of good faith, PMDG will see this and as such accept that in a co-operative environment things like this can happen within a development repository.
It's really no big deal to them that a single file is used, now if the whole plane was ripped then that's other issue..... 'Cliffs over Dover' use one of my texture files without permission but in the grand scheme of thousands of file it's not that big an issue.
