OK. I wonder if the C337 exhibits the same problem for you, given that it uses the exact same code for the DME?

If it does, and if you have time, and it bothers you enough, you could try adding print statements inside the constructor in:

So, between lines 60 and 106, every few lines, add print statements with different letters, so like this:

print("B");

Then watch the output in your console and see which step takes the time.

I had been wanting to do a Concorde Around the world tour for JAFVA for a long time. It takes a full weekend... that'll be awesome. Had not have the free weekend to run for it.

thats gonna make for some fun approach. Like my approach to Milwaukee, raining, 1/2 sm visibilty and coming down VFR. Sort of a nightmare in the absence of a Tower to help;
