Nice!
Is that not the FKDR1, we already have?
The one you reworked with textures?

That is the Albatros Triplane, it's not a Fokker. It was experimental like a lot of other German Triplanes originally inspired by the Sopwith Triplane, and wasn't a great improvement on the Albatros D.III.

Could have chosen a better name for the later, whichever it was, triplane.
Two DR1s?!

In the Imperial German Air service they have naming conventions for the various 'types' of aircraft used. The Triplanes were Dreidekkers, usually abbreviated to 'DR' followed by a Roman numeral for the model, in this case Albatros's only Dreidekker, the model 1 which went through trials at Alderhof but didn't improve upon the Sesquiplane D.III ( French reference to one wing and a half. The D-III~ DV Albatroses had a smaller, narrow chord wing for the lower one, inspired by the Nieuport V strutters...) But yeah if you were familiar with the naming conventions in the GIAS DR1 perfectly describes the Albatros triplane prototype.

Ah, Fokker DR1 and Albatros DR1.
Hope that the Kaiser did not place an order at a meeting between him, Albatros, and Fokker for two dozen DR1s and then have the squadrons recieve 48 planes :P

I patched together a small nasal program that allows you to 'coupe' rotary engined planes, ( shuts the ignition circuit off momentarily..) with the brake trigger of your joystick. Now I know a few of you all use mouse control, but the thing is, you can also use either your comma (,) or period keys (.) to the same effect.

It is cobbled together from Vivian's camel-utilties nasal in the YAsim Sopwith Camel, but I suspect it can be forwarded to JSBsim aircraft with an easy enough change in the property tree. Since most of the rotary engined WWI aircraft in FG are YAsim, I'm not in a hurry to get this changed yet.

Will come with the improved Allied style brass bell shaped ignition switch model and .xml with mouse clickable exteriors to switch on the spark.

Contact! and Braaaa-ap-fffzzz-braaa-a-app-ffzzz! :)

Now your Sopwith can easily do the Sopwith Rock and Roll..

Would make an awesome soundpack. Think they'd let us use it?

That's Vintage Aviator ( Peter Jackson is one of the owners..) I don't think they would be too kindly about using their Youtube sounds. There should be some public domain or freeware stuff out there. Johan posted a website that had lots of different vehicle sounds.
