Hey guys, just got around to making account here. I can try to help some with the plane, as I have some bit of experience. Let me know what I can do to help. I think you should work most on cockpit right now, as rest seems pretty good. 727 is my favorite plane, and very glad is comes to FlightGear!

Welcome in it0uchods :D

Definitely your helps is very welcomed in this project.

Feel free to jump in the cockpit, and make your contribution polishing there :) [or anywhere you want to ... for that matter ]

Do you know howto use git?
The development repository is:
https://github.com/IAHM-COL/727-230

You can either send us a pull request, or I can grant you write permissions on the repo -- if you let me know your github account.

If you don't know how to git (yet) I advise you post your improvements as links here, and off course to consider beginning to be familiar with git. We can help, and then you can become a very valuable contributor, with FGMEMBERS' repositories access, and much more freedom to help us keep and maintain this beatiful collection of FG aircrafts :)

Alright guys, sounds good. I will take a look at cockpit. Can someone help me setup GIT? I have been dealing with accounts hacked, and changed all passwords, but now I have time to help with the plane again. I have blender on my PC if it helps in any way.

Great it0uchpods

a few months ago I wrote a little presentation to help git beginners to self start.

Git guide

Blender is perfect to model for FG aircraft and scenery.

For the 727, the development repository is:

https://github.com/IAHM-COL/727-230

And the Sources, --including blender files-- are hosted/developed at

https://github.com/IAHM-COL/727-230-Sources

Hello, I will try GIT.
I can try to make some liveries, if you want.
Also, can someone tell me where the XMLs for cockpit layout are?

Hi itOuchpods,

the instruments are all pulled in via Models/Flightdeck/flighdeck.xml, the instruments themselves are separated in Models/Flightdeck/Dashboard and Modesl/Flightdeck/Overhead, just to find them easier.
