I'd join a USA to Japan trip if it happens Before the Festival.
During the festival I'll be parked on the tower control of Kansai ...

The transoceanic voyage will start a week before the event with about a leg per day. It will also include games at some waypoints like in Hawaii and Guam, we are still deciding btw.
Cheers, Mav

Mav, I am more of a bus driver. So me and dog fights is not a good plan, but I can fly a tanker ...

I know I know, I was just informing you.
BTW the KC projects also includes an AWACS so you can also fly that one if you want ;) .
Anyway, having two tanker flying together over the Pacific with F-15s, etc. will certainly be a great deal.

@Josh: I've got a list of things we should make on it when you can, will tell you on Mumble as soon as possible, probably later today.
Regards, Mav

I've had lots of ideas about what to do in this cockpit and as I can't resist to keep the list on a piece of paper, I'll write it here:
- under the engines display: on the left side a navigation display which must occupy no more than half that space and on the right side a digitalized radio comms display or whatever which works instead of those ugly switches near the radar.
- when there are currently the radio switches I want the 747-400 CDU display but darkened.
- in place of that radar we need to find a more sophisticated one or improve the current one (TCAS).
- remove that "Rolex" clock on top of the cockpit
- and add a digital clock/chronometer in the pilot's upper left area of the cockpit. (so we can also remove the current big instrument on the bottom left of the cockpit. DONE
- make that magnetic compass which pops down near the "Rolex" clock fixed so you don't need to pull it down every time, and maybe also improve it.
- place the altimeter a bit upper (really, we should re-organize all the instruments positions). DONE
- last and most weirdest: replace the paper manual with a working tablet which does the same thing.

Hope you can make it ;)
Regards, Maverick

Very productive Mumble session yesterday (need to sleep now, 1:03 here).

KC-137R Milestone 2 Build 56 completed.

After SP1, we switched to build numbers only, my development strategy changed.

Changes so far in Build 56:
Firehandles moved to overhead, some autopilot controls in their place now.
Instruments slightly reorganized
New textures for some instruments
ASI and VSI show the IAS/VS set in autopilot via red needles, it is also shown in text on the bottom left of the FGFS window when adjusted using my AP controls
Bug fixes to instruments, console now clear of errors! :)
Removed useless things

Hopefully tomorrow before/after USATour we get to work more :)

then we get Release 1.0 out just in time for FGfest 2016?

Cheers

I'll make my first test flight of the new KC version in a few minutes.
Will post here a feedback on it as soon as I land.
