collaboration

Postby bomber » Tue Nov 19, 2019 7:43 pm

In flightgear we constantly hear, my plane this, my plane that, my plane the other...

To me this is what stinks about the 'flightgear way'. It's about my plane and you doing some work on it for me...

Even with a successful design team, if a person leaves it still devolves into, my plane this, my plane that, my plane the other.

Flightgear collaboration is no collaboration at all... A better way must be found for plane ownership that freely allows collaboration of it's parts without the possibility of rancor once a person moves on.

Think about it....

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?
