Hey Jwocky, there can be worse landings than yours :-) It is amazing what a pounding Boeings can sustain. Just see the flaps wiggle.

The aircraft touches down on the threshold. The second touch is at the 2 fat stripes. No pilot willfully lands on the threshold, so i suppose it got caught in some downdraft just before touchdown.

That's not a landing. that's an slamming :D

It reminds me of many of my own touchdown somehow....

Wow, that's so very 747 when they are relative light. Get a good gust from the head and she first loses airspeed and goes down a little earlier than planned, then, when the engines speed up after the pilot added throttle, she goes up again and is hard to bring down. You can actually see this short moment of "fluttering" on the flaps when the gust hit.

Yeah, that's just dropping like a rock at the end. You can see that they pulled the nose up at the point when they feel the plane dropping.

Well as they say... any good landing is a landing you can walk away from..
