Yeah!
I know Alessandro is working on openradar and route manager for Vienna, but AFAIK no 3d stuff

On the other nice airport in Switzerland, we've got Samedan LSZS.

OSM2City script finally configured properly

The osm2city for geneve is now generated too
It makes a very compelling looking city here :D

I like it. really.

Yet... It is bringing quite some technically advanced new challenges to the play ... maybe worth maybe not worth .... :x

That rules out flying at Geneva for me, then..
Unless the osm2city files are seperate download, and not in TS on the date....
Unless anyone knows a way to time travel to my location with a 64 Gb Mem, i7 CPU, GTX980, and a 1TB hard disk?

I reduced the number of osm generated buildings a lot
I still get fps's that are really good in my machine

performance's always on my mind

Geneve: Final testing stages in process

The Airport Cointrin is almost ready for its public release.

I have added OSM2city buildings with a relatively low density, which still outputs a very compelling view. There is a minimun performance hit, but still there is some.

@Lego. When I build a repository, I may consider keeping a non-osm2city branch. So you, as an user, can kick those buildings out simply by checking a topic branch ;)
I think that'll be a fair solution

I still invite you to try it the osm2city development; which again was made optimized with low-end computer users in mind

Cointrin will be 24h operations - able

Hi All

The airport has been heavily optimized to allow seamless and effortless operations on real time 24 hours. Even on the darkess hour, the ground execution can be easily performed, thanks to enhancement of emisssions and lightmaps.

This airport will be 24h operations - able ;) [For those willing to keep their "time" set local]

Best,
IH-cOL

I don't know... I already get only 7 fps in Geneva without the buildings, for some reason... And my computer is not even that low-end. i-3 processor and 8 GB RAM, Win 8 64-bit. But I guess the graphics card is the weak point. :(
Anyway, is this (osm2city) gonna be in Terrasync or a separate download?
