Ok, how about dropping a guide, cause as you know I am studying so strictly no Computer access for a few days!

Screenshots will be great, cause I didn't see any day photographs. And some at different angles!

This is the pertinent repository / Terrain branch

https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-TERRAGIT/e070n30/tree/Terrain

VILH layout goes in

Code: Select all

Terrain/e070n30/e077n34/VILH.btg.gz

So you'll go to the correspoding directory,

https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-TERRAGIT/e070n30/tree/Terrain/e077n34

There, you find the .btg.gz file

https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-TERRAGIT/e070n30/blob/Terrain/e077n34/VILH.btg.gz

If you click in raw, it will allow you to download that single file

Also, you may need the proper terrain btg.gz file to go with it. you need to find the line

Code: Select all

OBJECT VILH.btg
in the stg files in that directory. The file that contains that text tells you what is the scenery tile btg file you may need to update (to avoid airport going underground)

https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-TERRAGIT/e070n30/blob/Terrain/e077n34/4218634.stg
In this case the file name is "4218634",

so you want to download the scenery tile btg in

https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-TERRAGIT/e070n30/blob/Terrain/e077n34/4218634.btg.gz

As well

And that's all!

(it is not updated yet!)

Bummer. I dont have tons of screenshotting time today. The guide is above. Then you get to surprise yourself, whenever you get a change to explore the scenery yourself :P

Thanks, very much. It worked in github.com (desktop version) from my mobile device!

Are you sure it is amazing. Are you genuine?

Lol, I was asking if the scenery is so great that you compared Inssbruck with it!

I think he was comparing the approach that planes have to follow to get to VILH. :P
The layout is still awesome.
LOWI has a nice Landclass data.

@SHM, exact right.
LOWI is the fear of Europe (along with Samedan). But still, VILH is much more technically challenging, at first sight.

I had not sim-landed a jet on VILH, nor tried (cause until now there was no good reason)
I see myself doing an A320neo from Indira Gandhi, one of these coming days. Just to test the pilot's sharpness.
