Hey D-Laser
I just tested.
Very nice!
It looks quite pretty, except for some holes to the north, and a 'terrain-overflow' on the taxiway towards the north apron.
And of course, the taxiway junction between the two airports is not pretty.
But on the whole, very nice, and thanks :)

Just need to figure out how to get the buildings above ground level...
I guess I could place them using UFO...

I'm not sure, but D-LASER's buildings from Project 3000 are also undeground, yet he reports that they are visible for him

Maybe he uses old scenery, not terrasync?

hmm.. I better remove the old (first) release of project3000 from my server.
Do you use this one:
http://media.lug-marl.de/flightgear/pro ... ov2015.tgz
?
...that is the correct one.

In the first release many airports had no elevation info.

checkout your
Objects/e140n40/e141n42/5267762.stg

correct elevations are between 22m and 24m

Did you see the btg.gz that I commited last night:

No, I didn't yet.
I will do that then, thanks....

Thank you! It will lookway better thanks to you and OSM2CITY.

And yes, it looks very nice apart from a grass 'overflow' in the north and some major holes. Otherwise, pretty nice.

I just spent the last half hour adding D-LASER'S work, and my work, manually merging, fizing stuff, and now it is pushed!

Once RJCJ is generated, this project will be all done.
Please test.
The OSM buildings don't look good from above, but they are pretty nice, and easy way to make a terminal!
I may add 'animated jetway' to the Intl Terminal and replace those static Project 3000 ones...

Update:
The Chitose Project is finished!
At least, there are bugs to fix, and [size=100]someday, sometine, RJCJ needs generated[size], but overall, it is a very beautiful -- and frame rate friendly-- airport.

Unfortunately, the textures on the main building are uglier than I thought, especially from above. Oh well, it is not so nice as proper buildings... but nice!

OSM2ROADS are very beautiful, but some elevation errors must be fixed manually.
Other OSM2BUILDIGS -- and Project 3000 are around. Very nice effect.
No OSM frame rate hit at all. With visibility limited to ~20k, a 777, some eyecandy, I got 7FPS.
The 20k is due to mountains which DO have a major hit...

Chitose Intl is fully ready for night time!

But where did the signs dissapear to?!
I guess I'll put them into the .stg manually.

Well, maybe it is not so done after all. :P

But it is maybe on a 'beta' project scale, if this was an Aerosoft or similar project. ;)

I just started placing jetways at Chitose :)
Anyone is welcome to continue on from gate 13.
Gate numbers reduce from there...

Oh wait!
Oh no... I forgot... there is no gate 13 OR gate 4...
