Hello!
Perfect idea...
Just a little note to tell y'all that I've added parking positions (by the guy who made 7,000 of them ) and one of my own (not working atm).
Added several airports (new ones from skyvector).
I guess SVMI is pretty much complete.
I will be continuing to work on it.
Is there a way for us to access the old website contents?
Or is it just forum now?

Iahm, if you could do the terragear magic, anytime this month, I'd be so glad!

The old site is currently dead, I had no time for a rework of it, it was badly maintained and had some quite old copies of planes on it. So it will come back around the board, but not too soon, there is just too much to do right now.

Hi lego

I tried to compile terragear lately and it is broke. You can see the few post of others arguing the same in the "official" forum

When I get Thorsten from Monkeying my back off, I will get to that and other issues, such as the bright 727

Ah, thats fine. Maybe someday someone will find a way to get TerraGear working reliably for Windows!
Hope the Linux one gets fixed....
Cheers!

Well, now we have working Parkings!
I added one for the Kombi, to drive round, then one for the A320 (fine tuned to work with jeways0
A330 (way too low) and others. IRL, Lufthansa and United, and others use gate 13.

Commited already.

That is some serious good news :)

A few people reported that problem to me -- and its great to have parkpos that works.

Caracas is proceeding well. I am working on WORKING animated jetways tjat are not moveable.xml but the old ones like used to work at KSFO!
And you do not need to maneuvre to try and get into place to get the jetway to hit the door, but rather it connects automatically!

I just deleted the old moveable.xmls and added two new jetways at gates 12 + 13.
They will connect to the 1L door of the 777, A320neo, A330, 717, CRJ7, etc etc.

Evening, folks.
I am in the planning stages of making a new layout -- and Blender work -- more true to Maiquetia. The current one really needs editing. I'll start from scratch, I think; delete everything but runways.
It is going to hopefully be as nice as Kansai promises to be :)
Good night :)

All done! Gatewayed; pushing new layout now.
It's so awesome to make a new airport, especially one you love.
