New Chitose Airport (新千歳空港 Shin-Chitose Kūkō) (IATA: CTS, ICAO: RJCC), is an airport located 2.7 NM (5.0 km; 3.1 mi) south southeast of Chitose and Tomakomai, Hokkaidō, Japan, serving the Sapporo metropolitan area. By land area, it is the largest airport in Hokkaidō.

It is adjacent to Chitose Air Base, a Japan Air Self-Defense Force base which houses F-15 Eagle fighter jets, the Japanese Air Force One government aircraft and a number of smaller emergency response aircraft and helicopters. Chitose and New Chitose have separate runways but are interconnected by taxiways, and aircraft at either facility can enter the other by ground if permitted; the runways at Chitose are occasionally used to relieve runway closures at New Chitose due to winter weather. JASDF provides air traffic control for both facilities.

As of 2005, New Chitose Airport was the third busiest airport in Japan (behind Narita and Haneda) and ranked #64 in the world in terms of passengers carried. The 894 km (556 mi) New Chitose - Tokyo Haneda route is the busiest air route in the world, with 8.8 million passengers carried (out of 13.2 million seats available) in 2010.

As you can see, it is made, but for such an important airport, boring. It is shameful for being the biggest airport in Hokkaido.

As you see, New Chitose has objects in WED. Unfortunately, we cannot use these by default in FlightGear. Could D-Laser's tools be used here?
Nevertheless, in Open Street Map, it is mapped. Not sure if this means KMIA style buildings may be made by OSM2CITY.

New Chitose is very nice in WED. It is complete.
However, Chitose Airbase is not, and thus, I will make it, submit it, and hope WS3.0 comes in time (wishful thinking), or someone can make a layout in TerraGear, for a Custom Scenery for the two airports.

Shared Models at least will be placed in both the Custom Scenery (if it is made) and TerraSync.

Well, TerraSync takes a long time as usual. Will have to be patient.

Most certainly yes.. both questions.
Had you checked if the objects are already up in the Project3000?

Does this mean that the Japanese use half airport for civilian, half airport for military?
ROFL
That's a bit too much

Yep. But they are two seperate ICAO codes. There is a connecting taxiway, that is all.
(what sucks is there does not seem to be a gate between them!!!!!)

BTW, the current Terrasync status looks fine to me.
Maybe just check if the 3d is in the 3000airports, format Terrasync ready, and ship it up to terrasync.
That could make an step up, by giveing it 3d.

Off course, you can get the current layout and improve it... if you see fit. :P

So that is why I get my console full of errors.. I did not get the Models... silly me.

Yeah, that is right. Yet, it is so boring for such a nice airport.
And for a future WS3.0, I must do at least the air base in WED.

And there is a mismatch of the connecting taxiways. Must fix...

Nope, no buildings.
Searches for fedextruck.xml in Airport/vehicles
and Apronlamp16m180deg.xml in Airport

Ok, I found the model in another place.
I will change the .stg, reload scenery, then submit to TerraSync, if possible.
