Meine Mutter benutzt Duolingo um Englisch zu lernen.
Hast du auf Mumble auch schon deutsch gesprochen ?
My mother used (?) Duolingo to learn English.
Have you ? Mumble to (?) Practice speaking (?) German?

Yes, I do, although I cannot speak over it, due to no microphone.

@jwocky,
I do find Der Die Das on google play sotre quite helpful also.
Thanks for your explanation!
I know I do need to watch myself and learn 'die Sonne', not Sonne, and remember that there is no sure way, some words talking about fem things use das or der.
Like, das Mädchen, chen gives it das.

And this is also true:

Btw, is that above good grammar?

Those are all grammar-wise okay.

About "das Mädchen" -> since that is the equivalent of the English "the girl" and a girl is in a wider sense the child-form of a woman, it she got this "chen" at the end. Everything with -chen at the end is a small-form and neutrum and therefore "das"

das Mädchen
das Bildchen -> small picture for example
das Wäldchen -> small piece of forest, opposite to der Wald, which would be a fully blown real forest

There was some kind of horror or action movie in the late 60s, I think, about monstrous ants, it was titled "Formicula". Now here is the joke nobody got. The ant is in Latin Formica and the old Romans had also a form to make things small and cute, it's that cula form. So "Formicula" actually means a tiny little cute ant. Or in German from Ameise, they made it cuter to Ameischen.

German is kind of a tricky language, you need to learn all words genre to apply the declinations (4-Fälle). For example, some words are feminin in german and masculin the same word in spanish, like "der Apfel" and "la manzana". With duolingo you can learn a lot but i think is insufficient, my advice is read a lot, and be familiar with the speaking trough listening videos and films, or additionaly (if possible) to try to speak it with someone via internet.

Viele Grüβe!
