Hey Mig, by the way, I'm doing the A320neo FYI, so we don't double-work.

Could someone show mercy with the C-5 and make a splash-screen for the big baby? Please?

@MIG29pilot:

Well, that certainly is humorous, historically accurate sort of, but the concept of the MD-10 is not the product of the Boeing/McDonnell Douglass merger. It was the vision of Fedex to create an aircraft their MD-11pilots could fly by simply walking from one plane to the other and sitting down in the flight deck. That is why the premium version of my MD-10 is called the MD-10ACF. which officially stands for "Advanced Common Flightdeck."

But remember the deal is to answer the GPS questions before you are awarded the Splash Screen commission.

I don't like it that much MiG29P

I am hoping you can do much better than that.
Look at the DHL 727-230 you made.
A flying plane. Great clouds. Awesome shot

Let me try to show you somthing I hope you find inspiring

1. Why does modern navigation rely on GPS satellites rather than standard radio satellites?
2. How many GPS satellites are required for the GPS system to work so a single aircraft can navigate?
3. At what distance are the GPS satellites orbiting the earth and at what speed do they orbit?
4. How many United States controlled GPS satellites are currently in orbit?
5. What is the power in Watts required for each satellite to broadcast its signal to earth?
6. What is the power in Watts for a ground-based device such as a GPS watch, a tracker, etc., needed to broadcast a signal to a GPS satellite?
Bonus Question: In which arm of the Milky Way Galaxy does our solar system reside?

1. Because GPS can cover the entire Globe, outside of Radar range; nor does the shape of the earth interfere with the signal. (versus old systems like Oboe, which had a certain range due to earth's curve.0
2. Four are required unless you are in a boat or land vehicle, boats and cars generally not going above ground level very often.
3. 11,ooo nm.
4. 31. Also, If they aren't owned by the United States it wouldn't be GPS--It would be Galileo (Europe) or Compass (China or Russia)
5. About 500 watts.
6. Trick question. The receiver does not need to transmit; it simply receives the signals and uses them to calculate position.

By the way, I looked most of those up--you said it wasn't a closed google test, so... :)
